About LESPnet >>>

Association of business Consultants in BaH – LESPnet is an association of consultants in Bosnia and Herzegovina, founded with the assistance of the European Union's Qif program, which is implemented by the CARE International BH/C. An inaugural assembly of the association << Local Economic Service Providers Network - LESPnet>> was held on September 10, 2001 at the Mt Jahorina in the presence of 54 agencies providing business-consulting services in Bosnia and Herzegovina and it was officially registered with the Ministry for Civil Affairs and Communications on September 9, 2002.
A management board voted in by the association's assembly is managing the Association of business Consultants in BaH – LESPnet. The association assembly consists of one representative of each association member. The management is made of director/LESPnet Coordinator for BiH.

Association of business Consultants in BaH – LESPnet is a non-profit organization reinvesting achieved profit into accomplishment of the association's goals. LESPnet finances its activities through membership fees, implementation of various projects and donations.

Due to its unique regional characteristics and a need for more direct and faster contacts with potential consumers of consulting services across Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of business Consultants in BaH – LESPnet, is organized at two levels, the regional and the state one. The work on the ground is done by five regional coordinators managed by LESPnet Director/Coordinator for Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo where the association is seated.

Its members, providing business-consulting services in various business sectors, and the LESPnet personnel, represent the LESPnet professional capacities.

Today LESPnet gathers 53 registered members employing over 80 highly educated economic and technical staff. LESPnet aims to become a synonym for quality in the sector of business-consulting services by applying top world expertise and practice in the sector of consulting and training of the LESPnet members, as well as by establishing a system of quality for the network members.

In order to ensure quality of work and to protect consumers of consulting services we have adopted:

- Rules of engagement for the LESPnet members
- LESPnet members' codex of professional conduct.
(in accordance with the FEACO codex)

According to adopted Regulations on grades of promotion program and way of passing professional exam for LESPnet members in order to achieve a higher grade in quality of consultant, the association has made a classification of its members to:

- Trainee Consultant
- Consultant
- Senior Consultant
- Leader Consultant
- Trainer Consultant

The classification of LESPnet members into one of above-mentioned categories is done on a basis of following criteria:

- Education,
- Experience in consulting business,
- Consulting service percentage share in annual income of the member
- References and appraisals.

LESPnet has adopted a principle of a constant advance training which defines a minimum number of hours per year for personal professional advancement of the LSEPnet members, which is a pre-condition for maintaining the grade of quality of each LESPnet member.

Through its education program for members of the LESPnet, rules of engagement of LESPnet members and codex of professional conduct, LESPnet aims to provide the best consulting expertise and practice in order to raise work professionalism and quality of legal consulting services to the top level.
By providing top quality service, LESPnet also aims to support development of private and public sector, the creation of new jobs and thus help reduce poverty and unemployment in the country.
