The
below stated code of conduct for LESP-net consultants
(hereinafter called: Consultants) is obligatory for
all consultants legal or physical individuals, and
their possible associates, who are contributing services
to corporations. The code of conduct presented here
is the minimum number of rules which are to be followed
during business consultancy services.
Commitment
and confidentiality
The Consultant is obliged to treat all data and documents
obtained from various clients as confidential and ensure
them to be treated by others as such. One is also obliged
not to use the obtained privileged data as gained knowledge
during the service offer, and not to use them for his/her
own or someone elses personal gain.
Unrealistic
expectations
The Consultant is obliged to restrict him/herself in
order to discourage business corporations of any kind
into unrealistic expectations or to promise any sort
of ˝fixed profit˝ from any specific kind of service
within the area of business consulting.
Allowances/Pecuniary
compensation
The Consultant is obliged to refuse any kind of compensation
or other financial benefits from a third party, offered
for the gain of recommendations, services or counselling,
offered to an associate as a benefit, allowance in kind
or service originated from a reference or counselling.
The Consultant will inform the contractor about possible
gain from such benefits and accept them only in the
case of the Contractors consent to the matter or knowledge.
Assignment
accomplishment
The Consultant will accept only those tasks and service
offers for which he/she possesses sufficient knowledge,
skill, and experience.
Mutually
conflicting service
In accordance with the obligations originating from
a professional and business code of conduct, the consultant
will refuse and avoid offering services to different
business corporations where there are mutual conflicts
unbeneficial to all parties. Konsultant će izbjegavati
i odbijati pružanje usluga različitim preduzetnicima,
ako to, s obzirom na obveze koje proizlaze iz profesionalnog
i poslovnog kodeksa ponašanja, može dovesti do konflikta,
te ako za to nije dobio pristanak svih strana.
Business Corporations coordination
Before conducting a service under the obligation of
fulfilling it, the consultant, together with his/her
client is obliged to coordinate and confirm the aims,
methods, mode of work, time-period estimated for the
offered service accomplishment. Also, all personal,
financial, and other interests that could become an
obstacle to the service realization need to be eliminated
in time.
Professional approach
The Consultant, his/her employees, and external associates
are all obliged undertake a full professional approach
to their public business and other consultant relationships.
The Consultant is also obliged to restrain him/herself
from imposing already accepted clients to think about
other alternative employment solutions, without announcing
beforehand. Consultants and their employees are obliged
to ensure this Code of Professional Conduct is accepted
by their other associates, consultants or other third
parties involved in the business service offer.
